Stores have one primary language and one or more secondary languages.

A primary language is your store’s default language.

Adding a language

To add a new language, follow these steps:

1. On the Locales page, select Add Language.

2. When the dialog appears, enter the following details:

   • Language – refers to the official language name and code.
   • This is the store’s primary language – indicates that you want this currency to be the store’s default language.

3. Select Save to save the new language. If the language is successfully added, it is displayed in the language list.

Deleting a language

To delete a language, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Locales page

2. Select the language from the Languages section

3. Select Edit

4. Once the currency dialog appears select Delete.

5. Select Save to confirm the deletion.
