Two Factor Authentication

Add an extra layer of security when you sign in to your Lana account by activating Two Factor Authentication (2FA). Two Factor Authentication is also commonly called Multi-Factor Authentication or Two-Step Authentication. There are two ways you can set up Two Factor Authentication on your account:

  • App Authentication - Use third-party apps such as Google Authenticator, DUO or Authy to get verification codes when you sign in to your Lana account.
  • Phone Authentication - An SMS containing a one-time use verification code will be sent to your mobile phone. You can use this when you sign in to Lana.

Recovery Codes are generated after you set up Two Factor Authentication. If you lose access to your authenticator app or phone, you can use these recovery codes to gain access and sign in to your Lana account. Keep a copy of your recovery codes by copying, downloading, or printing them. Recovery code can only be used once.

To access Two Factor Authentication, select Settings from the side menu and Profile from the Settings menu.
