Inventory Locations

Inventory Locations are physical locations where products are stored such as a store or warehouse. Your shop can have one or more inventory locations. A minimum of one inventory location is required.

By default, an inventory location called “Primary Location” is added to your shop.

Adding an inventory location

To add a new inventory location such as a warehouse to your shop, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Inventory

  2. Locate the Inventory Locations setting on the Inventory page

  3. Select Add Location. Enter the following information, as desired:

    • Location Name - refers to the name of the location such as ‘East Coast Warehouse’
    • Name - refers to the name of a person at the location. This is used for return shipping label generation. Use a generic name such as ‘Receiving Manager’ or ‘Warehouse Manager’ if you don’t want to specify a person's name.
    • Company - refers to your shop’s company name
    • Phone - refers to the phone number of the location
    • Location Hours - refers to the operating hours of the inventory location
    • Allow customer pickups from this location - select this option if customers are able to pick up orders from this location.
  4. Select Save to save the new inventory location
