Reviews can be moderated to ensure they are suitable for your store and are brand compliant.

To moderate a product review, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to Content > Reviews and then click the Pending tab.

2. The Reviews page is displayed

   

3. Select the review you would like to moderate from the Pending list.

4. Navigate to the Image setting to check if they are suitable for publication. Hover over the desired image to see the View, Edit, and Delete options.

   • View - Displays the users submitted images in a larger format.
   • Edit - Create or change the image alternative text (commonly called “alt text”). Alt-text is used by search engine bots when indexing pages and by people with low vision special needs using assistive technology.
   • Delete - Permanently removes the image from the product review. Use this to remove inappropriate images from reviews prior to approving them.
   

5. Navigate to the Visibility setting. Select from the following options:

   • Approved - The review will be published. The review will become public and visible in your store.
   • Disapproved - The review will not be published. The review author is not notified of its disapproval.
   • Pending - The review is pending moderation.

6. Save your changes by clicking Save.

7. If you have successfully moderated the review it’s status is changed to the status you previously selected.
